Tautan silang antarpeta tetap berfungsi.
This schema maps the thought of Isaiah Berlin (1909–1997) as a single interconnected structure. Its root is value pluralism, the conviction that human values are many, objective and sometimes irreconcilable. From that root grow the branches: the two concepts of liberty, the critique of monism and utopia, the studies of the Counter-Enlightenment and the roots of Romanticism, the essays on Russian thinkers and Tolstoy, the theory of nationalism and liberal Zionism, and the idea of political judgement.
Each node offers a summary, an exposition, primary works, interlocutors, cross-links and sources. The analytical material draws on a series of Indonesian- and English-language essays on Berlin published in 2024–2026, complemented by established scholarship such as the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy and the Isaiah Berlin Virtual Library. Contemporary interpretations, for example applying Berlin's categories to Middle Eastern conflicts, are clearly marked as interpretations.
The map can be read from root to branches, or by following cross-links that show how one idea, such as the rejection of historical theodicy, recurs in the studies of Herzen, Tolstoy, Marx and Helvétius. The schema now also maps the KBA13 Insight Berlin series (2025): every paragraph drawn from a book in the series is marked with its title, and each book node links its chapters to the ideas it discusses. Because its scope is now very large, several branches have moved to five thematic maps of their own: Method, Philosophy & the Social Sciences; The Counter-Enlightenment & Russian Thinkers; Monism, Marx & Tyranny; Jewishness, Nationalism & a Muslim Reading; and the KBA13 Insight Study Series. Cross-links between the maps still work.
