An interdisciplinary introduction to Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari: their intellectual biographies, postwar French context, critique of representation, institutional experimentation at La Borde, and collaborative philosophy.
Learning outcomes: explain their historical contexts; distinguish representation from difference, becoming, duration, and immanence; describe transversality, desiring-production, rhizome, assemblage, and deterritorialization; apply concepts to contemporary cases.
