Method Guides
Structured guidance for qualitative, quantitative, mixed, comparative and futures-oriented research.
Overview
Method Guides
Method guides help researchers choose and apply methods well. They explain when a design is appropriate, what evidence it requires, how to analyse it and how to report limitations honestly. Guides are written for students, early-career researchers and practitioners as well as experienced scholars.
The guides are linked to the School of Research Methodology & Academic Practice, the AI Research Assistant and the Research Methodology page, so that learning, practice and tools reinforce each other.
