Mission
Build an academically rigorous, practically relevant, ethically grounded, and globally accessible School that equips learners to identify and define public problems, understand how policies enter political and institutional agendas, evaluate evidence, distinguish evidence from advocacy, develop and assess policy options and instruments, identify trade-offs, analyze institutional capacity, plan implementation, monitor and evaluate results, understand decentralization and local governance, use data responsibly, govern artificial intelligence responsibly, communicate policy clearly, develop public-sector strategy, analyze crises, understand legitimacy and public trust, and design policies that are lawful, inclusive, feasible, and accountable.
Vision
Develop a globally accessible School with distinctive strength in Indonesia, Aceh, decentralization, local government, special autonomy, post-conflict governance, evidence-based policy, digital government, AI governance, early warning, institutional transformation, higher-education governance, public integrity, and Southeast Asian governance.
We avoid exaggerated claims such as “best in the world,” “guaranteed government reform,” “guaranteed policy influence,” “official government certification,” or “instant transformation through AI.”
