OP03 — AI Editorial Workflow System
Architecture specification & Codex handover. AI-assisted editorial workflow that prepares materials for publication while preserving human academic authority. Operates across E02–E20.
Purpose
Assist human editors by reviewing, improving, organizing, validating, and preparing academic materials for publication — without replacing human academic authority. Architecture only — AI assists, humans approve.
Editorial Scope
Books, articles, research papers, working papers, policy briefs, strategic reports, courses, lessons, lecture notes, presentations, training materials, consulting reports, knowledge base entries.
Editorial Principles
- AI assists. Humans approve.
- Never replace the author.
- Never change the author’s intellectual argument without explicit approval.
Editorial Pipeline
Submission → Technical Review → Academic Review → Editorial Review → Language Review → SEO Review → Knowledge Mapping → Metadata Review → Publication Review → Final Approval.
Technical & Academic Review
- Technical: formatting, broken headings, tables, images, captions, references, footnotes, hyperlinks, file integrity
- Academic: argument structure, logical consistency, evidence, academic rigor, citation consistency, research methodology, terminology, scholarly tone
Language & Editorial Review
- Language: grammar, spelling, academic style, readability, sentence structure, paragraph flow, translation quality
- Editorial: title, subtitle, abstract, introduction, body, conclusion, transitions, call to action, consistency
SEO, Knowledge & Metadata Review
- SEO: title, meta description, keywords, tags, canonical URL, slug, Open Graph, schema recommendation
- Knowledge: school, program, course, domain, concepts, thinkers, theories, frameworks, methodologies, related assets
- Metadata: author, publication date, language, status, keywords, categories, access level, related courses & research
AI Limitations
- Never invent references, quotations, statistics, historical events, or citations
- Never rewrite the author’s conclusions without approval
AI Suggestions
Suggest improved structure, clearer headings, additional references, missing citations, missing metadata, better internal links, related reading, and course/research opportunities — as suggestions only.
Editorial Decisions
For every AI suggestion, editors may Accept, Reject, Modify, Ignore, or Postpone.
Version Control & Publication Readiness
- Versions: original draft, AI suggestions, human revisions, editorial approval, publication version
- Readiness: Ready for Publication, Needs Revision, Major Revision Required, Research Verification Required, Editorial Review Required
Quality Control (report only)
