This training enables participants to complete a full knowledge-production cycle using their own permitted source material. It is not a book sale or book-reading event.

Pre-work
Each participant brings one lawful 5–15 page source, identifies a real question, and states who could use the eventual knowledge brief. The facilitator prepares printed or digital templates and removes confidential material from demonstrations.
Day 1
Session 1 — Reading with a purpose (90 min)
Brief instruction (20), model a reading map (20), individual mapping (30), pair check (15), exit ticket (5).
Session 2 — Building traceable notes (90 min)
Source-location drill, quotation/paraphrase/interpretation sorting exercise, then creation of one reusable note. Peer verification uses the original source.
Session 3 — From topic to argument (120 min)
Participants formulate problem, provisional claim, counterclaim, evidence gaps, and annotated outline. Facilitator feedback is limited to questions and alignment checks.
Session 4 — Three-minute presentation (60 min)
Participants present one core message for a named audience. Peers mark message clarity, evidence, audience fit, and unanswered questions.
Day 2
Session 5 — Theory fit, not theory decoration (120 min)
Distinguish phenomenon, concept, pattern, framework, and theory. Build a map of concepts, relationships, evidence fit, limits, and an alternative explanation.
Session 6 — Sustainable intellectual practice (60 min)
Audit current routines and design a two-week experiment with one small daily action, evidence log, review point, recovery rule, and safe limit.
Session 7 — Knowledge brief sprint (120 min)
Create a one-page brief containing problem, claim, evidence, interpretation, theory/logic, limitations, implications, sources, and AI-use disclosure.
Session 8 — Verification clinic (60 min)
Pairs attempt to trace every claim to evidence. Authors revise the highest-risk weakness and submit before/after versions.
Assessment
Score each final brief 0–3 on problem clarity, source traceability, evidence–interpretation separation, claim alignment, theory fit, limitations, usefulness, and responsible AI disclosure. Completion requires all outputs and at least 16/24 overall, with no zero in traceability.
Facilitator safeguards
- Never request participants to upload confidential or copyrighted material without permission.
- Do not reward polished language when evidence is weak.
- Do not let AI invent quotations, page numbers, citations, or participant experience.
- Make peer critique specific, respectful, and revision-oriented.
- Allow iteration; the seven stages are connected, not mechanically linear.
