AI May Assist With
- Summarization and translation
- Classification and comparison
- Timeline construction
- Hypothesis generation
- Drafting, formatting, and source organization
AI May Not Be Treated As
- An original source
- A final authority
- Proof of an allegation
- An independent verification mechanism
- A substitute for human judgment or legal authorization
Requirements
Every AI-assisted workflow must include source verification, prompt and output logging where appropriate, human review, disclosure, model-version recording, and a documented correction procedure.
