E18 — Master API & Ecosystem Integration Engine

Purpose

Integrate every platform, database, application, AI service, repository, and external academic resource so no system operates in isolation. Architecture only — no credentials are entered or exposed and no authentication is bypassed.

Core Principle

  • Every system communicates through standardized APIs
  • Every integration is documented
  • Every synchronization is logged
  • Every failure is recoverable

Internal Systems

KBA13 Academy, Insight, Research Center, Digital Library, Publishing, Knowledge Graph, Knowledge Registry, LMS, CEO Dashboard, AI Assistant.

WordPress, LMS & eCommerce

  • WordPress: core, REST API, custom post types & taxonomies, media, users, roles, menus, comments
  • LMS (Tutor): enrollment, progress, certificates, student records, learning analytics
  • eCommerce (WooCommerce): products, orders, subscriptions, coupons, membership, invoices

User & Knowledge Synchronization

  • Users: students, researchers, authors, editors, administrators, institutional partners
  • Knowledge: registry, graph, metadata, recommendations, learning paths, competencies

Content Ingestion & External Academic Services

  • Ingestion sources: KBA13 Insight, books, research, external metadata, manual/batch import
  • Prepare integration (config only, no crawling here): Crossref, OpenAlex, ORCID, Google Scholar, DOAJ, Scopus, SINTA, Semantic Scholar, SSRN

AI Services

Integration points for OpenAI, Claude, Codex, future AI models, embedding services, and vector databases (keys supplied securely by owner — never stored in content).

File Storage & Communication

  • Storage: WordPress media, cloud/object storage, CDN, backup storage
  • Communication: email, SMTP, notifications, push notifications, internal messaging

Payment (configuration reference only)

Integration points for WooCommerce, Stripe, PayPal, Midtrans, Xendit, and bank transfer. Payment credentials and keys are entered ONLY by the owner in the respective secure plugin settings — never in this page or by the AI.

Security

  • OAuth, JWT, API keys (stored in secure secrets, never hardcoded)
  • Rate limiting, access tokens
  • Role permissions, encryption

Automation & Monitoring

  • Automation: webhooks, REST API, scheduled jobs, event queue, background processing
  • Monitoring: API usage, synchronization/import/export status, integration errors, performance

Error Management

Detect broken APIs, authentication failure, timeouts, duplicate requests, data conflicts, and synchronization failure — with recoverable retry.

Administration

  • Enable / disable integration
  • View logs, retry failed jobs
  • Manage API keys (via secure store)

WordPress Implementation

  • REST API, custom endpoints
  • Cron jobs, action hooks, filters
  • Do NOT modify WordPress core.

Restrictions

  • Do NOT expose credentials.
  • Do NOT hardcode API keys.
  • Do NOT bypass authentication.
  • Do NOT overwrite verified records.

Codex Handover

Deliver API architecture, integration map, data-flow diagram, authentication framework, synchronization & monitoring workflows. All secret/key handling and code implementation executed by Codex/owner in secure settings. Stop.

Content status: Draft. Architecture specification only — no credentials or API keys entered/exposed, no authentication bypassed, no records overwritten, no WordPress core modified, no data fabricated. Domain: kba13academy.com. Engine: E18 API & Ecosystem Integration. Handover: Codex / Owner.
