How the monitor reasons

Five domains are averaged into a composite posture for one subregion at a time. The point is not a number but a profile: the radar reveals whether pressure is broad or concentrated in a single domain — a distinction that changes how an analyst should respond.

  • Maritime & sovereignty — disputed waters, claims, and freedom of navigation.
  • Major-power competition — external courtship and alignment pressure.
  • Domestic governance — internal legitimacy and political stability.
  • Economic integration — supply chains, trade dependence, and shocks.
  • Transnational & societal — migration, extremism, climate, and identity strain.

Read it responsibly

The monitor holds no data on any country. It structures your own assessment so its assumptions can be seen and contested.

Analytic scaffold, not intelligence. No events, actors, or outcomes are asserted. Every posture reflects only your ratings and must be grounded in real evidence and area expertise before informing any judgement or decision.
