How Publishing Works
From the moment you submit to the day your royalties arrive, every stage is tracked inside your Author Dashboard. Here is the full journey.
Three kinds of steps
Some steps are handled automatically by our system, some are done by hand by our editorial team, and some need action from you.
Your manuscript, stage by stage
AI Suitability Screening
Behind the scenes, your manuscript is assessed automatically for suitability. This result is internal and is never shown to the author. You simply wait for our editorial decision by email.
Decision E-mail
If your manuscript passes screening, an invitation to proceed is sent to your email automatically. If it does not proceed, you are notified courteously — without internal scores or details.
Editorial Deep-Read
Passing manuscripts are then read seriously and in full by our editorial leadership. This is careful human judgement — the heart of a curated imprint.
Editorial Feedback Sent
Our editorial notes and next steps are delivered to you automatically through your dashboard and email.
Publishing Agreement
A publishing cooperation agreement is prepared between you and KBA13 Insight. It confirms that your book will be published on Amazon and leading international book marketplaces, and sets out royalty and payment terms.
Draft Finalisation
Once the draft is approved, our team finalises the interior layout, cover, and metadata, and assigns your ISBN.
Global Release
Your finalised book is published to Amazon and international marketplaces and goes live for readers worldwide in ebook and paperback. ISBNs are already provisioned.
Sales Reporting
Whenever your book sells, sales reports are compiled automatically and delivered to your dashboard and email — no need to ask.
Royalties & Payment
Your royalties across Amazon, the international network, and partner outlets are calculated automatically. Payment is made by bank transfer; international transfer fees apply per the agreement.
All communication happens in your dashboard
Messages, files, feedback, agreements, sales reports, and royalty statements — every interaction with KBA13 Insight lives in your private Author Dashboard.
