A transparent six-stage process
Stage 03
Evidence
Evidence is collected according to the design and documented so that it can be checked. Source discipline means recording where each piece of evidence came from, how reliable it is, and how it was selected.
Methods vary by project, but every approved study must make its question, evidence, analysis, limitations and review pathway clear. This stage is documented in the study so that readers and reviewers can follow the reasoning from start to finish.
