How this School is organized
Teaching and research are grouped into seven academic clusters rather than a flat list of topics. Each cluster defines a body of knowledge, a set of methods, and a stated competency outcome, which is what keeps a growing catalogue coherent. The clusters run from intelligence foundations and analytic methods, through open-source intelligence, early warning and risk, strategic and geopolitical analysis, and the information environment, to intelligence governance and ethics. Study itself is delivered through eight program types spanning foundation courses to executive and institutional education, described on the programs page. Underneath the programs sits a catalogue of thirty coded courses across five levels, published with an honest development status so learners can see what is available now and what is still being written: the course catalog.
What this School will and will not do
The School is educational and research-oriented. It is not a government intelligence agency, a law-enforcement body, a military intelligence unit, or a covert operational organization. It does not claim access to classified information, does not provide surveillance services, and does not target private individuals. The full statement of scope is on the about the School page.
Everything taught here works from lawful, publicly available, ethically collected material. That is a methodological commitment rather than a disclaimer, and it comes with binding conditions on collection, privacy, proportionality, source protection, and the use of AI. Those conditions are published under ethics and legal boundaries, and learners acknowledge them before undertaking practical analytical work.

Every analytical product from this School must be traceable, honest about uncertainty, and defensible to a reader who disagrees with it. In practice that means separating fact from inference from judgment from assumption, assessing source reliability and information credibility as two distinct questions, stating confidence explicitly on a three-level scale, testing at least one genuine alternative explanation, naming key assumptions, documenting an audit trail, and passing human review. The requirements and the standard report structure are published in full under analytical standards.
Assessment applies that standard directly. A cautious low-confidence judgment supported by traceable evidence scores higher than a confident one the evidence does not support.
Credentials
The School issues non-degree professional certificates. They recognize completion of a defined pathway plus assessed applied work, and they confer no academic credit, SKS, ECTS, degree, or government accreditation. Each certificate records the pathway, learning hours, a certificate number, and a verification URL so that anyone relying on it can confirm it independently. The six defined tracks, their requirements, and the issue conditions are set out under professional certificates.
Starting points
Learners new to the field should begin with IS-F01, Intelligence Literacy. Working analysts who already have background usually start with the Intelligence Analysis pathway. Researchers and investigators are better served by OSINT and Verification, and anyone responsible for monitoring situations should look at Early Warning and Risk Analysis.
Organizations building capability across a team should consider a private institutional cohort rather than individual enrollment, since cohort delivery allows the final applied project to address the organization’s own analytical problems.
