Program 04 of 7
Collaborative Research
Joint inquiry with researchers, institutions and communities who share a question.
Overview
Collaborative Research
Collaborative Research brings together partners who each hold part of the answer: universities with methods, institutions with data, communities with lived experience. Roles, authorship, data ownership and ethics are agreed at the start so that collaboration strengthens rather than complicates the work.
KBA13 Academy has particular interest in collaborations across Southeast Asia and the Muslim world, and in partnerships that build research capacity in under-resourced institutions. Collaborative projects can lead to joint publications, shared datasets and co-taught courses.
