Program 07 of 7
Independent Research
Research led through transparent inquiry and intellectual independence.
Overview
Independent Research
Independent Research is the core of the Research Center: work initiated by its researchers because a question matters, not because someone commissioned it. It includes the essays, working papers, reports and books published across KBA13 Academy and KBA13 Insight.
Independence carries obligations. Independent work must declare its methods and sources, separate evidence from interpretation, and remain open to correction. Many of the Research Center’s flagship publications, from the forecast audits to the report on algorithmic civilisation, come from this programme.
